*If I really had to, I would choose Tasmania. It has good freshwater reserves, is in a democratic state and does not host predators for humans... A place where, simply, it is possible to save oneself.

*cit. Paolo Giordano “Tasmania” Einaudi Editore

The “Tasmania” series does not celebrate a geographical utopia, but questions our present. It asks what it means, today, to build possible landing places in a world that raises walls and loses humanity. It invites us to pause in the folds of human experiences, to recognize ourselves in the other, to challenge the rhetoric that reduces migrants to “problems”.
